I have failed yet again! What I promised myself has just crumbled yet again. Friends? Somehow, my heart tells me no. In every way I look at it, despite how the odds are SO MUCH AGAINST me, I still feel that shes the right one. I can't believe that i faltered over such a short period of time.... It really hurts, knowing of the time constraint, knowing that there would probably be less than two more occasions to meet her. More of the regret that I wasted the pass two months, not doing ANYTHING to try to mend the relationship. More of just ego on my part that I would not lose to her. Thinking that what she did was on purpose and that I needed to find a way to get back at her. But that probably was not the case. Shockingly, she remembered something which I actually forgot. Now, I feel that the only thing I can do to hopefully redeem myself is to make this next event the best as I can. Much thought, plenty of planning and probably something more sincere would help me get the message over properly this time. But above all things, I really have to thank God for giving me this window of opportunity to realize that I was wrong. Better late than never. Thank you Lord for helping me realize that time is of the essence and that I really need to do something sincere to reach her. Lord, please help me bring the message over and allow the reply to be one which is positive. But above all things, Lord, please allow what may result from my choice of action to be what is pleasing unto you. Lord, please help my be more certain of what I want, and make the choice of action be one which is correct and pleasing unto you.

Oh my goodness, its been 3 years since my last post. Many reasons, some of which I feel are justifiable and some maybe not so has resulted in this hiatus for 3 years. Over the course of 3 years I have realized many aspects of my life which I feel are lacking. I attribute these wandering thoughts to having a great deal of time to ponder over these when I am alone on duty. I do realize that these aspects of my life are rather unsettling and definitely require severe attention to and changes must be made as quickly as possible. The rapid transition from college to the army has made me realize that I have failed to act in many ways and some of these actions which I have failed to do have resulted in faults in my life. Most of which resulting in a great amount of grief and anguish in my heart. Regret would be one of the best words to portray my immediate sentiments to my actions. The element which makes it worst is the fact that I can find no reason for not doing what I should have done. Even doing something as simple as speaking my mind, I presumed that actions alone were sufficient. I also failed to realize the signs which were so blatantly placed before me. I question my filtered judgment now when the entire ordeal has simmered down and realize that I was nothing but a fool. The signs were very clear but I failed to heed the conscience which was ringing persistently by me. I clung on feebly to what I assumed was true but reality was never been awfully pleasant to me. Change is indeed what I need to push on and change has what I have been working on over the past year. Fail as I may time and again, I now know what I truly desire and will persevere towards that goal. Success would be sweet but I know it will be scattered with many obstacles. Reliance on God as well as a calm mind would allow me to attain just what I want.

The following photos will be a blur of what my life has been as of 2007 since I graduated from NTSS and proceeded on to college. Although this college was never one I desired to go to, God has definitely blessed me in countless ways and I have failed to reciprocate that unconditional love which He has so willingly showered on me. This I intend to change this year and is one of my few new year resolutions. And now, what you have so patiently been waiting for since my rambling from the start, Let the Collage begin!
<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; I can't believe that I totally didn't read the instructions and ended up with only five minutes on the necessary portion for the essay portion.
Thankfully I think I did rather well for my content portion. Despite the fact that I didn't read the content packs AT ALL, most of the questions were well.... required more of General Knowledge and the ability to SMOKE, which I am rather good at. Haha.
The second time which I required to return to school was on Friday and for a rather long period. The day started with the need to return to school for tennis training which was rather fruitless thanks to the rather on and off showers of rain that morning. After "training", I went on for Math and which wasn't of much help as the teacher was not really explaining the questions well. Or rather, she was explaining the wrong questions.. the easier questions and that caused me to loose my concentration... After which, was the going through of the GP TCA 1. Rather than listen to the teacher who is 2 years older than me yak, I decided to spend my time in a better way. To finish my Chinese homework. The day ended with me and a couple of other classmates running off without the lesson really ending.

On Sunday, after a really good lunch of Terayaki Temptation at Subway, I went for something special, Ken's practice recital at the Young Musician's Society in the evening.
Apparently Ken was to sing two songs during the intermission. The thing is, this function was actually a place for really young musicians, around the age of five to ten. But boy were they good! There were only a few who fumbled here and there. Heres a snippet of one of the young performers in action.

And Ken performed two songs during the intermission, a German song titled Sonntag and an English song rather familiar to most, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. I felt he sang both songs really well by may standards. Here are his performances.

And heres the picture of all the young performers and my cousin Ken.
The week was mostly spent on relaxing and catching up on both Anime and the much needed sleep, which I lacked during the school term. Time was also spent on tennis here and there with Timothy. Didn't do any studying this week apart from completing the math tutorials needed during the math extra lesson.

Second week
The second week was the Church Camp week. As Church Camp started on Wednesday, I decided that I really needed to do some studying as I would probably be slacking entirely during those three days and would probably be out cold for the next two days and a routine hangover for not sleeping on the last night and not having much sleep during the entire Camp. So I spent Monday and Tuesday studying a bit. Spent my time reading my Physics notes of with content I mostly could recall and packing for the Church Camp. After studying a little on Monday and Tuesday, I decided to bring my stuff to camp to study. I mean what could be better? Having three days in a fully air-conditioned surrounding filled with good food a great bed and being away from all forms of entertainment which can waver your concentration!
So I brought my Chemistry, Economics and Dynamics notes along with me for Camp.
At the start of Camp on the bus, I realised that both Ken and I forgot to bring our bag tags and as usual, we didn't really care and went along with the flow of things. Once on the bus, we hit the books, me reading up on my Chem Bonding notes and Ken his Organic Chem notes.
After completing two chapters each, we arrived at the immigration checkpoint.
After getting our passports done, we got on the bus and watched FMA the movie on my iPod. Much time was spent listening to music and chatting about random stuff on the bus. When we arrived at the hotel in Seremban, I realised that the hotel was really really nice, the best one we've been to. The Camp then went on with its usual pace, going on from lessons to discussions , meals and free time but this time with the inclusion of time for studying. Lessons during this Camp took a rather different approach as there was more discussions and stuff was more organised. I rather liked the time for discussions but I felt that it lacked the punch as most of my group members were rather quiet. But thanks to our leader Shawn, I think we pulled through rather well. Devotions were rather impactful and direct to the point. I liked the devotions done by the Churches overseas especially the one by the guy form Tuao. I also enjoyed this year's Prayer Walk as at least there was a fixed outline to pray about rather than praying about anything which came to mind. However, I felt that there was insufficient time for some stations which I felt was not very good. The food at the camp was really good especially the barbecue dinner on the last day.

The gym was rather old and stuffy and the machines didn't seem very well maintained. But overall at least I felt really good after the work out =) Other sports which I attempted during the Camp was tennis with Uncle Lee Hock, Uncle Lee Hock's wife and Glenn. Free time spent in the Camp was spent on studying.
But I only got round to studying Chem.
On the first day, after all the activities, I hit the books, reading a bit of Chem notes. Then one of my roommates, Glenn, noticed and decided to go through the stuff with me. And boy was he good, he went through the entire stack of notes without having to refer for almost all the stuff and the format which he explained was the same as the notes! How cool is that! So at least I got quite a bit done for Chem on the first day. On the second day, I spent my free time doing some of the Chem holiday homework. And on the third day, I spent my free time watching the Godfather III which was really cool with all the random shooting and stuff. Haha.
And for the first time in the entire line of Church Camps which I have been to, I actually slept on the last night, despite the fact that it was around 1 the following morning.. Well instead of fellowshiping with the rest of the youth downstairs in the lobby, I spent my time having a discussion about the Education system in Singapore with Glenn and my other roommate, Kevin. After a rather heated discussion and some random jokes regarding South Park, we turned in for the night. In between, Ting was calling to check whether I had gone down and did something stupid with Ken. Cause the thing is, in the afternoon, Ting, Ken and I were in my room and we were just talking and suddenly, Ken and I came to the conclusion that we haven't done anything stupid in ages. So we walked out the the balcony and low and behold, we noticed that the balconies were linked. Suddenly, Ken had a brainwave. He came up with the idea of walking along the balconies to the next room and give people a scare by tapping on the glass door of the balcony and screaming at the top of our voices in the middle of the night.
However, this plan never came to light as we weren't allowed to go to other people's rooms in the last night, let alone walk along balconies..
Overall, I felt that it was a fun and enriching Camp.

Third week
Well, much has been said about my first two weeks of my holiday. However, my third week of holiday has been spent studying studying and getting myself addicted to the Anime, Lucky Star.

On Monday, I headed on down to Queenstown Library and spent a whooping seven hours on Math, both practising what I had learnt during the PAE period as well as trying to complete my Math holiday homework. But I felt that I couldn't have done it without the help of the two reasonably hawt girls sitting opposite me. Their presence studying opposite me spurned me to MUG more. Partial Fractions, Sigma Notation and Binomial sped by quickly as I made haste to complete as much as I could. Every time when I felt that I was brain dead and really wanted to leave, I looked up and noticed them studying diligently and I told myself that I HAD to do likewise so that was exactly what I did. I studied. After the seven hours of non-stop Math I decided to reward myself with the really nice Chicken Rice at the Queenstown hawker centre. Sadly the stall wasn't open. So I ended up with fishball noodles instead. But the strange thing is, sitting there and eating the nice bouncy fishballs, a whole wave of the past suddenly hit me. I suddenly recalled what it felt like when I was three and when my mom brought me here for lunch after spending the entire morning in the Library..... Those were the days, constantly looking for Asterix comics to read and sitting around doing nothing... Now, the Library has a totally different purpose, a sanctuary for one to study in peace. On Tuesday, I spent the morning doing Math then went for tennis with Daniel and Zhi Hua. But this time, we ended up playing in the rain which was actually rather fun. We were soaked to the skin despite the fact that were were all wearing dry-fit material..

After which I headed down to my classmates house at Fajar to do my Project Work. Spent most of the time finding answers to the questions which I had made and snacking on what my classmate had to offer. Haha. Went home rather stinky with the scent of a mixture of sweat and rain water in my clothes. On Wednesday, I spent the morning doing Math and Chem and in the afternoon completing my Chinese tuition homework. The day ended with me watching more Lucky Star. It is so insanely addictive. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Today
I awoke with the soft a rather irritating buzzing of my handphone alarm. Despite knowing the importance of the need to study, it took me ten minutes to find the the phone and turn off the irritating buzzing. I then went on with the completion of my Math holiday homework and watching two episodes of Lucky Star. Konata just drives me nuts with her rather dead way of talking.... I can't stand the Lucky Channel at the end of each episode either.

I feel that it is just dumb! But at least it still cracks me up. After that in the afternoon, I went on for the 4/2 class gathering. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Despite knowing my classmates for 2 years only, it really felt as though I've known them forever. We were able to play games and sit around and just talk so freely. That feeling is just to die for. Being able to talk to them really brought back memories of my Secondary three and four years. Thinking back, I really enjoyed it to the fullest. Incidentally I felt that the class has really been bonded in those two years. Thinking back of my secondary three and four years really brings back sweet memories to me and at the same time tears to my eyes as I know that we will never have the chance to be able to study like that again.

I regret being unable to know each and every person better. But at the same time, I am really glad that the Lord God has blessed me with such a great, bonded class to spent what many consider the prime of their schooling days. I am also really thankful that the Lord has blessed me with such wonderful friends whom I can still talk to very freely about anything despite being streamed into different schools and not being able to meet each other for the pass 6 months or so. At the start of the gathering, we went on to take the luge which cost a whooping nine dollars for a sky ride, a ski like transport which brings one to the top of a hill in Sentosa and the luge, something similar to Go-karting down the hill in a vehicle which is rather similar to a wheel barrow.
Heres a picture of Johan, me and Casey in the sky ride taken by Cheng Hong in the seat before ours.
The first few people whom I met apart from Casey were Jeronme and Boris. Boris hasn't changed much and its great to know that hes in Tennis too. At least now, theres one more person to be able to meet in next year's Tennis tournament XD. The next few people who came into sight were Johan, Ling Yang, Cheng Hong, Jun Kai and Jowell, followed up by the girls, Su Jing, Wan Ping, Ke Li, Xing Ying, Hsing Ming and Su Ling. After having a really fun time racing down in the luge, we went on to play Captain's Ball at the beach. After playing, and feeling all hot and sweaty, we went on to get drinks from 7 11 before heading on down to Palawan Beach. Once there, we went on to play frisby. We kept on playing even though we couldn't even see where we were throwing the frisby. But that didn't spoil the mood one bit. We finally decided to stop around eight and ended up sitting down on small pieces of tissue paper along the beach and talking about random stuff and getting loads of laughs along the way. We finally departed from Sentosa at 9. Along the way, we kept on taking photos of each other.
Here are the photos which we have taken.
This is the group of us who remained behind. I felt that this gathering was really fruitful and I am really glad that everyone's going on well in their new environment. Its been great talking to Johan and knowing more about his school life in CJ as well as knowing about Cheng Hong and his life in SP, joining Dragon Boat. Although I felt that I didn't get to do much catching up with Jowell and Jun Kai. I am really looking forward to the next gathering.
I just wanna say a big Thank You to the organiser of this Gathering.

Really happy for today but really tired at the same time. The time spent studying and at the same time, having fun with friends and relatives which I will forever hold dear to my hear. I constantly tell myself that I long to change myself one way or another. But due to my constant procrastination, I have been unable to do that during the span of one and a half months.

So for this near year, 2007, I have finally came up with a number of New Year Resolutions. Most of which are about placing my priorities, as adapted from Basil’s devotion about big, small rocks and sand. Here are my New Year Resolutions.

1) Read the Bible and pray to the Lord God Almighty daily despite how tired I am.

2) Do not skip out on Church services.

3) No more alterations/ re-phrasing of the truth.

4) Love the people around me more.

5) Be thankful for what I have.

6) Be thoughtful of my speech (ensure that I am not a stumbling block to others a.k.a by swearing)

7) Make better decisions.

8) Even though incidences may seem bleak, rely on the Lord God Almighty as he is my Rock, my Shepard, my Redeemer, my Friend.

9) Do what is expected of a Christian.

10) No more making empty promises.

I have also made a list of people who have really made an impact in my life last year and want to thank.

Ken

My ever loving and jovial cousin who never fails to place a smile on my face. Much time has been spent with him during this past year. All the escapades which we have embarked on last year….. Studying in the library, watching anime in the library, running around like a bunch of fools and laughing at everything in plain sight, supporting him during his singing performances and the times whereby we’d just spend our time talking together. Those times will forever me engrafted in my heart.

Ching En

My Best friend and buddy who has been around since P4. A great and funny guy whom I used to have tiffs with during P4. But I'm sure this has really helped to make us even closer. Hes been around for as long as I can remember. A great guy who supports me through everything, constantly encouraging me and giving me bits of advice on choices life, studies, Family and God. A great motivator who has been helping me alot during 2006 especially during the O level period, constantly reminding me of the light at the end of the tunnel and reminding me to rely on the Lord God Almighty for strength. Hes really someone whom I can share my every thought with, without a second thought. When I'm feeling down, he helps to comfort me and shares my joy when I'm happy. Shopping with him for anime-related goods has really been my most favourite times of the year. After which we would usually indulge in really good Japanese food. Sometimes, if time permits, we would go for a cuppa and talk about pass events in our life. Going for IT fairs and shopping at Funan has also been a really enjoyable time for me as his knowledge in this field is by far the best I've known of. It pains me to know that he'll be leaving for Australia on the 8th of Feb, which is 3 days from now. But at least, I know that we'll still be friends no matter what.

Chen Ting

My other cousin, also from New Town. Time spent laughing and talking to her about times spent in New Town, the loopholes in the school as well as telling her stories which has happened to James, my Physics teacher last year. Talking to her about anime has also been really fun.

Chen Yi

The most serious amongst my cousins as well as the one whos the most grounded in the Lord God Almighty. Being around him always gives me the boost to be more and more like him, being able to manage studies, time with God and guitar. Furthermore, he always makes the right decisions. This makes me look up to him even more.

Judith

One of the few people in church whom Ken, Ting and I talk to a lot. Apart from the fact that she loves anime too, she has also been one of the few people who has constantly been reminding Ken and I to stay for sermons. Thanks to her constant reminding, Ken and I have started staying for sermons more often. Congratulations on getting baptised and being redeemed!

Daniel

One of my best pals from New Town. Studying with him has been one of the few things which we have been doing a lot during this past year…. Studying at Starbucks from 5 till 12 has been one of the few stuff which he has been doing together. Talking to him has never once being boring. Jokes can be cracked from the smallest of things and he is always well informed about practically everything so every conversation with him leaves you with something special to bring back with you. Another anime lover whos also in tech and stuff.

Zulhimi
Another best pal from New Town. Time spent with him is mostly regarding fashion, girls movies and Korean drama. Talking with him is also never boring as he always is able to give you new insights regarding topics. Being with him is fun as he is also into the crazy ideas and impulses which I have. Watching Korean dramas and movies has also been really fun with him as he always has the same feelings regarding the characters and plot as I do hence allowing us to relate even better together. Watching movies at Dan’s house with Dan and Zul and studying with them shall always remain in my heart.

Jono

Ken's friend and another anime lover. I really have to thank him for taking such good care of my cousin and helping to keep him out of trouble during his Primary and Secondary days. He has a great personality and cracks really good jokes especially regarding his school and stuff which he brings back from overseas or from the net. Hes another really good source of anime and keeps up to date with almost everything, from anime to music to tech and the going-ons around the world. A really fun guy to talk with!

Johan

A great friend who has been with me since Primary school in Henry Park and through my upper secondary years. Time spent with him is never once boring, he makes one of the best jokes, speaks sense, lends a good listening ear, and is a really great and trustworthy friend. Having the same hobbies as I such as watching anime and keeping up to date on the latest technology makes it all the better to converse with him. He says small things which really helps you boost your confidence.

Casey

Another really close friend during my upper secondary days. A quiet and thoughtful boy who has the same thoughts as me regarding aspects in life. Talking with him really puts new ideas regarding life in my head and really makes me ponder on life and what is to happen in the future.

Jun Kai

A fun guy who does not seem to talk much apart from games and anime. A really friendly and helpful guy who speaks honestly and from the bottom of his heart. Walking home with him last year really helped bridge the gap between us by a fair bit. Amongst all, he is a good friend indeed.

Song Qi

My tuition teacher for the pass 3 years. A great person to talk to about stuff especially those regarding God. Shes been a great help to me, constantly coaching me on my sciences and telling me and Ken to behave. Shes been one of the few people who inspires me to work hard. Her constant hard work of marking my papers during the course of 2006 has really touched my heart and spur me to thank and appreciate her all the more. The fact that she goes all out to teach and help her students shows that she really cares.

Timothy

Another friend of mine since Primary school. A guy who loves sports, watching movies and appreciating the existence of girls. A great guy who is also my tennis kakki. Talking to him gives me joy as I know that there is someone else who talks on my wavelength. A great guy who never betrays his friends. A great guy to talk and have fun with!

Typing all of this has really made me want to thank the Lord God Almighty all the more for what he has blessed my life with. It also makes me want to appreciate what I have all the more. Believe it or not, I'm actually tearing now.......

Its been 27 since the Prom night. And over this period boy, was a lot done. And thanks to my constant procrastination, I have not been updating my blog AT ALL. Sorry....... So to make up for all of that heres a super long post.

First came the Prom night then the sleepover at Ken's and then the class chalet.
Prom night was really fun. Everyone was dressed up really nicely. Guys in their suits and girls in their dresses. It was really a night to remember by. Everyone has having lots of fun, just chilling, talking despite the fact that the food was too superb. Thank goodness for the fact that I brought my dear ol camera, my very own Canon Powershot A400 otherwise I would have missed out on this chance to remember the very last night with my schoolmates of four years.
Heres a sneak peak of what happened.

Heres me and Dan at the reception lobby after walking from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
It was a rather long walk but thank goodness we weren't perspiring that much. Dim lights, loud music, a crappy emcee;......I could do a far better job.... XD me and my ego........, and not to mention food which was relatively all right but was not very filling. There was a number of games...... but they were not really too fun..... My table didnt even win a single one of them. Surprisingly, I was won a prize during the lucky draw...... a stuffed animal...... lost it during the flourish to take photographs....... Sigh..... the fun of moving around taking photographs ended when my cam batt died....... sigh.... Went home..... tired...... sweaty..... and with a stuck belt...... so I ended up sleeping in my prom night suit..... haha.... how pathetic =p
Next in line came the sleepover at Ken's. We tanked a whole lot of cool anime. We finished the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion series in two nights straight along with the full-length movie which lasted a whooping four hours long. After the marathon of the movie, and still being quizzical about the "angels" and stuff, we were dead tired and flopped over....... Things were made worse by the fact that the following day was Sunday, meaning that we had to go to church.... and thanks to our carelessness, we had a real difficulty waking up the following day.....
Apparently after service, we had sufficient energy and returned to Ken's place and continued another series; Zero no Tsukaima, and finished it by dinner. Sometimes, I'm amazed at where our reserves of energy for anime come from..... hm..... maybe its in the blood?

Now.... Thats what I call good stuff! =)

After which came the class chalet.
Apparently the chalet is somewhere along Pasir Ris way. Sadly, I've heard numerous stories about the place which makes my skin crawl..... But at least we got the place for free =) Thank you Melvin! Incidentally, a couple of "unique" stuff happened during our stay there. On the first evening/ night, it took me, Casey and Jia Hao approximately 20 minutes to find the place. One contributing reason could be due to my overconfidence which caused us to get off a stop later..... Finding the place was another matter.... The street lamps did little aid in allowing us to see in the dark.... Most houses seemed unoccupied but dogs seemed to be in each and everyone of the houses. Barks from the dogs erupted around us as we passed..... But what made me jump was the fact that the house number 13 was unoccupied..... This placed a number of unnerving thoughts in our heads as we proceeded out search.... Finally, we found the place at 9. After a couple of rounds of taiti and majong, we settled down to watch Saw III. Boy was the movie gruesome........ made me want to throw up with what I had for dinner..... No wonder it recieved a R21 rating......... *Hacks*.......Its contents is too morbid to be place on my blog beside dear Makie.....! Certain parts of the movie was boring.... so I nodded off in between....
On the second day, we had the morning to ourselves, most of which was spent on recharging our internal batteries by sleeping.... Breakfast was prepared by the girls in the class.

The food was good but sadly, due to there being such a large number of people there, there was a shortage of food..... In the afternoon, we went cycling followed by a barbecue dinner. The next day we went to Escape themepark and well, just had fun on all of the rides which we had time to take. Finally it was time to leave the chalet. I left the chalet with well....a mix of emotions.... of not being able to talk more to the rest of my classmates.... But at least I was able to spend time with my clique. I shall really be missing them......
Now, onward to what I have done this week and what I am planning to do for the remaining of this week....
On Monday, I spent my morning helping Dad send Christmas cards to his clients. In the afternoon, I headed on down to Ching En's house to watch Nana the live-action movie with Chun Kit. The movie was overall all right and it kept to most of the scenes which were shown in the anime. However, it was rather jumpy and only showed certain scenes and was not really in sequence. But after watching the movie, I feel that Mika Nakashima looks good with the gothic/ rocker chic look.
On Tuesday, I went for the usual sending of Christmas cards in the morning. In the afternoon, I went for ice skating with Ken, Ting, Charmaine, Jono, Judith and Judith's cousins. Despite the fact that this was the first time skating for me, I DID NOT FALL EVEN ONCE =) SOOO HAPPY! At least by the end of the entire skating session, I was able to maintain my own balance and did need to hold onto the barrier for support! We then headed down to Kobayashi after the skating and chatted (with the addition of James' numerous life stories) till 5:30 before heading back home as Ting had tuition and Jono had to pack for his trip overseas.
Today, I spent my morning sending more christmas cards before catching the movie Eragon with my brother and Jon. The movie was relatively all right by my standards. However, they changed quite a bit of the original story to make it seem more "Hollywood"-like and allow the hero to always triumph and get the girl...... That was the main let down. Other than that, the graphics were smooth and Saphira looked just how I imagined her to be.... Go Dragons! XD!!
Tomorrow, I'm catching a movie with Ching En tomorrow and at the same time returning him all of his Fruits Basket Manga. We're also heading down to Kinokuniya to have a look at the new Manga and will probably purchase some art books. If time permits, we may even had on down to Sunshine Plaza for a higher dose of Anime. On Friday, I'm playing tennis with Timothy and going for my Uncle's celebration of the birth of his new born daughter. Will probably head on down to Ken's after the celebration for more anime......
*Yawns* Its been a long day..... feeling really sleepy after this really really long post..... Gonna go sleep now... Oyasumi!

Wahahahahhaha its finally over! What has past will never return. The feelings, the emotions, will forever be buried in my heart. Forever remembered, forever cherished. The times of joy, short, brief, but definitely remembered. The times of suffering, grumbling and discontentment will also be with me. Remembering the times, sticking with those few who have always been with me through thick and thin. The people whom I can turn to and just outpour my entire heartfelt feelings. Forever remembered, forever cherished.

I just want to shout it all out at the top of my lungs!
"I want to see your face, I want you everyday, I need you by my side, I want you in my life, no more I can't deny." Somehow, nothing seems to be coming to me now.... The only thoughts which has been springing to mind is gaming, improving my Japanese and next comes anime then roller blading! WHEET AIR GEAR! But amongst all, what I have really decided is to set aside a whole lot more time for the Lord God Almighty. Reading, applying and spreading his word to others. Strengthening my relationship with those around me is also something I aspire to achieve.

Went out with Ching En and his friend just now to Funan and listened to what his friend was explaining about tech and stuff and realized how out of the field I was. It totally took me sometime to comprehend what he was saying. But dude! He was good! he was literally reading the items off with their code names! At a really fast pace to boot! Saw a whole lot of cameras and hard disks and boy did my nose start bleeding! WHEET HDDs! Its my dream I tell you! Dropped by Gamescore to take a look at the new games. And lo and behold, guess what i saw? I saw the PLAYSTATION 3 in its RAW GLORY! I went straight into TOTAL fanboy mode and was commenting about how sleek the body looked, how cool the controller was and how 11+3R4117 53X4Y the graphics were!

After all that walking around, finally went to have our dinner at Sakae Sushi and drowned out post-O blues in the sushi buffet. Muched and crunched on numberous plates of sushi....mmmmm.......! Then listened carefully and heard that Ayumi's Heaven was playing on the sound system there. It suddenly struck me on how impactful the song's words were. Although I didnt understand entirely what she was saying, I could totally feel the emotion in them. Somehow, listening to it made me feel like crying.
Ah what a day it has been..... listening to Younha's - 思い出にできない. Another really touching song. sigh. Another year has somewhat come to an end. Feeling tired and waiting for supa supa to load...... It really is taking its time.

Well, before I sleep I really want to shout this out to all the tuition teachers, Ling lao shi, Mrs Kao and Song who have been coaching, teaching and encouraging me all this past four years "THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!"
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel.

Another day has passed. Managed to do quite abit of work today. Finished a Physics O level paper and an entire Amath paper. whew. But somehow, theres this gnawing feeling that I'm still not doing enough.... Sigh.
The days draw nearer.
The hours tick past.
And still, I haven't done it.
Sigh.
How much can the human body take before it stops and says no more. How much can I take before my body refuses to do anymore work? I enjoy doing work. Especailly sciences and math. But somehow I can't drag myself to do humanities. Even though I really require the practice. Maybe its just the fact that I need someone to kick me from the back and say "Come on, you can do it!". Or maybe something out of an anime whereby a cute girl stands in the back ground going "Fighto!". I wonder, if that were to happen, would I really be able to make it? Would I be able to have the drive, the resolve to propel myself forward, to take that first step and be immersed in the subject. To be immersed in the subject and somewhat love the subject, just like how I've loved math and science so far.
Would there be someone there to encourage me?

Went studying with Ken again. We did our work. Generally alot by our standards. Had a rather fun and well-spent time at JE. Took breaks in between and chatted. Sometimes we would just sit, talk and laugh. The ideas and thoughts which run through our heads during times like these is most probably incomprehensible by most others. And that makes it fun. We'd just talk. Then we'd come up with a word. The word would then trigger some form of frequency between the two of us and we would just laugh our heads off. An example is "ecchi". If you don't know what it means, don't bother to check it out or ask around. You'd probably regret ever checking. I really enjoy being with my cousins. Being with people whom I can talk freely about everything and anything. No need for a facade to hide who you really are or the need to think and rethink about what you have said or going to say. They would understand your intentions and there would be no doubts. Having people like that is what I consider an asset. An asset so close to my heart that I feel that I would never want to lose no matter what. <watashi zettai="" mamoru=""> Friends are likewise. Having them is good. Having close and good ones are tougher. Sticking with them, encouraging them, sharing their joys and sorrows, conforting them, is another matter. Choosing good ones is even more important. How times have passed. Four years. Much I have seen. Many lost. Few kept/remain. And it is those few which I will treasure.

I want to trust and obey. But at the same time, I want to have fun. Somehow, I feel I need to understand more too.

Please help me with my resolve in my studies, my spiritual life and my human relations.
For it is only you whom I am able to trust.
</watashi>

Whee....What a long long day today has been..... So very tired and contented.
Finished a whole chem (Crescent Girls MYE 2006) and Amath paper (ACSI Prelim 2004) today! So happy! *claps hands*
Really sat down and practiced at JE today with my good o'l cousin Ken. Well, he was doing his math with his lappy. And we made connection to the library's free wireless access! Apparently Ken was charging his phone with his lappy. What happened next was not to be expected at all..... A bearded security gurad walked over and lectured us that the library's electricity was solely for educational purposes and not for charging your phone. Well, since he took us by surprise, we were taken aback and just sat there and listened to what he had to say. Well he was staring at Ken's screen for a while (Pokemon was on) and he thought Ken was some kind of gaming expert who was doing his project there cause he didnt say anything about not being allowed to play games using the library's electricity. Well, Ken got rather pissed and started scolding him in ways which could probably cause another racial riot, in my opinion that is....... Well, at least Ken also got down to doing his work cause he did use his lappy to search up on rules on calculus and referred to a couple of my notes from Mrs Kao.
After that at 4, we decided to go to the gym to work out and stimulate the mind. Went down to the cafe and low and behold, we see our tutor. She seemed rather shocked to see us. She even pointed an accusing finger at us. "What are you two doing here! You hengmin, have O levels and Ken, exams!" and we tell her that we were studying, but she still didnt seem to believe us. So we snagged her Irish cream. Now I can finally understand why Ching En likes it so much. The taste oh man. So stong! The whammy of the coffee was simply amazing! In my opinion, it is almost as good as the Black Forest from Coffeebean. Gonna get one Irish Cream after the Os at Coffeebean =).
After bidding our tutor goodbye, we went on to the gym to work out. And boy did I realise that Fit and Trim isnt as easy as it sounds. Or maybe I'm just too out of shape..... Havent been exercising since June..... Well we did the usual stuff of cycling as warmup for ten minutes. I was unlucky to get one which had really little space for me to cycle. My knees kept hitting the handles in front of me...... Now they're all bruised *pouts* . Next came the assited chin-ups. Had a little trouble with that cause I haven't been training my arms in a while and apparently, my muscles have degenerated. Following that came the lat-row, one of my most favourite exercises. Did it for ten minutes and my arms felt really really great. The strain was just nice. Another fun exercise after that involved the legs. Somewhat like leg lifts. That was more or less all right cause I've been walking a whole lot this year. After which came more weight lifting but my arms didnt seem to be obeying me..... So tired...... Well next came a run for ten minutes. Didn't have difficulty for that. That means my body is still more or less in shape =) Then came crunches..... Whoo hoo.....nice abs here I come! Gonna continue doing crunches on a daily basis from now on. After the entire workout and cool down, my arms felt like lead.......
SO
VERY
TIRED!
Ouch....have difficulty typing now.... Anyone has ways to soothe aching muscles?

Song said to try bananas or chocolate. Trust her to know what to do =)
Listening to Ken Hirai's Love Love Love.... SUPER NICE BALLAD! Finished quite a bit of work as well as did quite abit of stuff. After bible class I decided to head on down to JE to do some mugging. But sadly, I realised during worship that I had forgot to bring my calculator! So after church I chionged home to grab me calculator before heading to JE.
Once there I was able to sit for 4 hours straight and finished two A math papers! What a feat. I could have continued until one of the lady's working at the cafe asked me whether I was purchasing anything. Afraid that I would be chased out I headed on to purchase a cappucino and went on to marking my work. Whilst I was marking, I heard a familiar voice. Turning, I saw Song and her friend standing behind me......(Apparently I was wondering who the people standing behind me were. Alot of people were having difficulty finding seats and I was getting rather annoyed.) After Song got a table of her own, I managed to finish my marking and corrections and started on my SS. The next thing I knew, Song walked over and told me that she saw my cousin. I turned and true enough saw Ken wearing the same bright green shirt which he was wearing during his concert at Victoria Theatre. Well he was talking to Song for a while before bounding off. Song then told me what my dear cousin had in mind. Apparently he saw two of his schoolmates a decided to stalk them. I was literally dumbfounded.
Then for the next hour or so, I continued with my studying and kept in contact with my cousin via hp, somewhat like what one does when involved in military warfare. Well Ken was stalking them in a way similar to what Sagara would do. Taking cover behind pillars and staying in the crowd. He even crawled in the grass! Shocking as it may seem, he was even able to take a photograph of the couple showing a rather large amount of affection. Sadly, he was seen. He then approached them and asked what they were doing and they said the corniest thing ever. "We were doing Chemistry." (Chemistry a.k.a affection)
After the ordeal he headed back to the library and we had a rather good talk. Next, he suggested that we head to the gym. So I tagged along. The gym was huge! All the latest equipment! Sadly I was wearing jeans and could'nt join him in working out. So I spent my time studying for the SS test tomorrow in the gym. At the end of the gym session I was able to complete 1/3 of the entire chapter. Then followed him to Wesmall so he could stock up.
Went home after that mentally and physically tired. Took me 1 1/2 hrs to finish up the SS chapter. *Whew*
Thats all thats happened today.....Slacking now =)

A flourish of emotion.
The heavy thumping of my heart.
I cry out.
This pain.
The thought of the future scares me.
Have I done my best?
Somehow, I feel that I could have done better.
Somehow, I jus have this feeling that I am the only one who has not reached his maximum potential.
I am certain that I could have done better.
Whats there left for me to do? One word: "Practice"
Has it not been stated by many that "Practice makes perfect"?
Has my efforts gone to waste? Or is it just me?
One word: "Careless". Is that just an excuse? Or is it really unforseen human error, the instance whereby one feels a surge of confidence and allows one's guard to falter and hence not noticing a mistake so simple that it makes you wonder whether to laugh or to cry.
I look around me. The faces I see. All brmming with smiles and content. Would I be one of them if I had just checked once more or even read it carefully the first time through?
Sometimes, it hits me. Is prayer enough? Yes, it is. But most of the final outcome relies on you, your frame of mind at that time and whether you are able to perform, whether you have planned and paced yourself correctly. Everything is already in your head, what comes next is whether you have enough time to put it on the paper and whether you answer the question correctly and not regurgitate everything which you have learnt.

The thoughts swim through my head. Positive and Negative alike.
I wonder, what will it be like when my best friend leaves next year?
I mean even who will I have to confide in? Even though we have computers and we are able to chat online, the feeling is totally different. Its completely different from having a listening ear and hearing someone else's conforting voice. The presence of a person also makes a whole lot of difference.

Reading the book "Tuesdays with Morrie" has also made me ponder on a whole lot of things. Death awaits all of us. We have no way to anticipate death so are we doing enough in our lives? The people around us, those we care for and those who care for us. Have we done enough to let them know what we feel about them? Are we giving enough love? Even words which we may say at the slip of the tongue may have adverse effects on what may happen in the future. I mean what if someone close to us dies and we lack the time to tell him what we feel? What if that happens to you? Will we regret? But how will regretting help?

So I have decided to take into consideration the feelings of others and tell them what I feel, or even give them a listening ear.

Time passes, picking up its pace. Its less than 4 weeks left.
The Os are coming.
Looking back at the tuition teachers which have been teaching me, my Chinese tuition with Ling Lao Shi has already ended since June. Although I didn't really enjoy doing her work, her stories about life will always be with me.
3 more lessons with Mrs Kao left. It has already been 4 years with her. I will always remember all the times I spent having tuition and listening to what fun things she had to say. Even the time during the SARS period when we had to wear those masks which covered both our noses and out mouths. Initially I felt that it was a drag. But thinking back, I feel that it was actually quite unique. Which tuition will force you to do such fun stuff? I also remember the times when a mosquito bit one of the students and she would take out her bottle of Bygone and start spraying about. There were even times when she would give chocolate to the person who killed the mosquito.
Last but definitely not the least is tuition with Song. Lessons with Song has been fun since the first lesson. Listening to all the snippets of her life in US and then linking them in many little ways to science is not something which I will forget that easily. Understanding, as she says is the most important, and she would never give up in bringing her point over to me. She is also the most hardworking of all my tuition teachers. Marking my stacks of prelim papers which I have been piling on her this entire year..... I feel kinda bad doing that..... Sorry Song! Another nice point of her is that she loves Anime! Passed her Karin and Hachimitsu no Clover. Apparently, she was enjoying Karin alot until a point of time whereby a "scene" in Winner's fantasy popped up and she she started disliking it. Fortunately she has enjoyed Hachimitsu no Clover so far. She is also the most engaging amongst all my tuition teachers. She even invited my cousin Ken and I to her youth camp last year. Had a really really fun time there and at the same time got to know a whole lot of fun people.
What fun we had.
I'm really thankful that the Lord Almighty has allowed me to know so many nice people in my life. I'm certain that I will always remember and cherish them.

Ahhh....Finally salvaged the com after a near death experience......And when I mean near death, I realli mean the brink of death........Warning lights were flashing in all directions......The com was lagging...... The ventilation vent of the lappy was emmiting a whole lot of heat.......The screen seemed to be blacking out and I WAS FREAKING OUT!! I was practically screaming my head off and running around the house! Somehow or rather, my screams seemed to be heard as my neighbours started pounding on "their" floor and my ceiling......... What happened next was not to be expected.....EVER...... It started raining......A Thunderstorm to boot........
Apparently I slipped on one of the rugs and crashed into my swivel chair......Boy did that hurt.....
Fortunately, I was able to save the com by updating the entire system and doing multiple scans for bugs.....Only then did I find out that my poor com was suffering from a total of a thousand five hundred and sevety nine bugs........... SOBS....... Can't believe that my com was able to sustain through so much..... Living with me through all the long hours for Anime......Yes Anime...... For that brief moment of Euphoria!...... ( Speed Grapher =) ) I was even more surprised that it was even able to last this long despite all the trouble I was putting it through.....

Despite all this misfortune, I was able to get Mikuni's Album, Remember~青春アニソンハウスアルバム~.
Boy does her voice sound better than ever! When I heard her sing songs lyk Cruel Angel Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kujikenaikara! from Slayers and Sakura Saku from Love Hina, I was blown away. She sounded even better than the original singers themselves. Her voice is oh so smooth and when she hits the high notes, she dosent even go the least bit screechy! Whats even better is that she has good looks to boot! Songs lyk Sore ga Ai Deshou, Minaimikaze and Kimi ni Fuku Kaze realli made me fall in love with her voice! If only she had released more albums........ Sigh...... wishful thinking.....Can't wait for her next album!

And the thing which boosts the entire experience of listening to those priceless songs is the fact that I got the latest version of iTunes! The layout looks much better less messy. Now the album art can be expanded and fit the middle of the screen and it can be flipped through like one of those minidisc players in pubs. Newer functions is also another pointer to expect. Now iTunes is even able to search for the album art of the song on its own....Now theres no need to hassle through google looking for clear pics of the right sizes =) Whats even better is the fact that iTunes now updates itself and even your iPod. I plugged my iPod in and its operating system was updated to version 1.2. The dragging of songs into playlists is also less laggy and noticing the iPod being connected is also done much faster.

Sony Bravia is realli Number 1!

Yay.......Just watched finish Naruto and the Snow Princess on the Sony Bravia........Dude......it realli is amazing...... the clarity of the sound, the vividness of the colours which are crystal clear and the smoothness of the video......Wow..... Even better than watching in the cinema...... First dvd I tried so far...... Pirated summore..... and this kind of results? It really is spectecular all right..... Can't wait to try an original dvd and on a PS 3!!!!! Imagine the possibilities...........

Wow.....Much has happened today...... Started out the day hardly being able to wake up, but fortunately, I was able to finish some work in the morning. Dashed through an Emath paper 1, hurriedly showered before making my way down to Bugis to meet up with Zul. We then proceeded on to Sunshine Plaza, the ULTIMATE place for Anime. Walked into "What shop" and saw Saber pencil bots!!!!! I also saw a couple of Hachimitsu no Clover ones too. Was walking around the shop a little more and saw the Aishitueru ze Baby OST. It contains a whole lot more songs that what you see on Gendou...... We then stopped over at the Grand Cathay to get some coffee. The ice cafe mocha tastes relatively good. The chocolate on wipcream was simply to die for. The day trudged on without another piece of work being done. The guilt sinks in..........
The day then proceeds on to Ken's concert, the height of today. The worst thing about the place, was looking for the entrance..... spent about fifteen minutes locating the entrance..... walked in the wrong direction towards the AYE......... what could be worse? The first half of the concert was pretty boring. However, when it came to the second half, the audience was jumping on their feet and swaying to the thumping beats over the speakers. I felt that the harps ensemble from Nan Hua was awesome! The peotry piece was also good. They're school's English teacher also rocked the auditorium with songs from Guns n Roses as well as the song "I will survive" which was dedicated to all teachers. Then it was Ken's debut on stage singing "We're all in this together" from High School Musical. Although we couldn't really hear him singing, we definitely could see him dancing.

Overall, I felt today was well spent resting. The prelims are in 2 weeks time so I won't be spending much time on the com. Will be mugging all the way to the Os now.

Acks, Another day has passed.....counting down to the Os..... Just seventeen more weeks......what could be more unnerving? Blasting Koda Kumi's Trust Your Love, trying to get my mind off the closing exams as well as the short amount of time I have left with the friends which I have made at New Town. The more I ponder, the more I feel that there would definitely be this empty space in my heart which can never be filled in the same way again. The time which I have spent in New Town was fun as well as it being a period in my life which can never be relived again. The thought of being separated again after these four years, is no easy thing. Sometimes, it feels like a dream which is about to end......How I wish this time could continue on. Somehow or rather, I still feel that I am not prepared enough. Trying cluster papers all the time, being able to do some of which (applies mostly for Chem and Physics), which there are others which I have no confidence AT ALL (Amath, abit of Emath and Humanities). Sometimes, I wonder whether there is more which I can do to improve myself and whether this is what happens to most other students before they take the Os. I just hope that I will be able to clear all my doubts by the time it is the prelims and that I will be able to ace it. Praying everyday, hoping that the Lord will send me help and that I will be able to embrace it and make the most out of it. Trying to cut down on my anime intake now, max of 3 episodes per day. Forcing myself to do at least one paper per day. Gonna study with Casey and Johan tomorrow. Crossing my fingers that it will be fruitful and we won't end up talking and joking amongst ourselves. Gonna chiong Amath and probably physics tomorrow. Probably gonna run in the evening....Need to exercise......Probably gonna catch some anime before getting ready for church the following day.....Sigh......with this little amount of time left, the best thing to do is to plan, plan and plan somemore. Can't be awasting my time anymore......

Although I am not one who beleives in superstition, I somehow have the feeling that there may be a slight possibility that it might be true.....Reason being the fact that a mirror in my room broke a couple of weeks ago. And as the saying goes, when you break a mirror, you get twenty years of bad luck. TWENTY years mind you.....that makes 16 + 20 = 36 before I am finally out of its dark grasp.....Now back to today..... Today is Racial Harmony Day and I wasn't feeling the least bit racialy harmonious. The day just started out BAD. As usual, as I was making my way towards the busstop, feeling all happy that I would most probably catch the 151 bus which usually comes at 7, my happiness was dashed the moment the 151 bus zoomed pass the busstop at 6:55 right before my eyes. I was utterly speechless.....the day HAD to begin like this.....Not only was my efforts to make my way out of the house earlier than before wasted, I was utterly pissed that I had to wait for another 20 minutes for the next bus to come. Swearing under my breath, I waited for the next one which came at 7:15 which was utterly empty with the few exceptions of a few school mates a students from Nan Hua sec. The day trudged on being as boring as ever with the principal droning away at the parade square while half the school population was chattering amongst themselves. From what I noticed, I saw that only 5 students in my class were wearing traditional costumes while 4/3 had its entire class into this occasion. Some of them came in Japanese costumes, topped with even the wooden clogs while the rest paled in comparison with the usual Malay and Chinese costumes. 4/1 had a few eye openers with a handful of them in Korean attire. Lessons were boring going through examination papers in preparation for the coming Os . The concert on the other hand was kinda letdown too. The school day ended with me making my way towards the busstop and the 151 making a sprint pass me.....I mean how's that possible??? Missing the 151 twice in a day! Thats really unlucky.....Ended up taking a bus to Clememti and making my way home from that. The change of bus took a long time too.....ended up wasting 15 more minutes before I got home. Was sweating and swearing profusely by that time......And here I am now, after tuition and dinner typing the days events out for the world to see. Will be going for Charmaine's concert tomorrow with Ken and a couple of his other friends. Hope its gonna be fun =)

Today was better than most other days....got home pretty early and spent about an hour and a half snoozing after a nice hot shower.....tuition was all right, managed to clear my doubts for the physics mid-years as well as questions from cluster papers. Great thing was that I was able to buy Negi 14 after that =). Pretty spectecular for me..... my favourite part of the manga was when Negi took Ako around the Mahora Festival. AKO IS SUPER CUTEEE!!!! love the way she blushes when Negi comes close to her.....yeah... Negi looks super cool when he becomes 5 years older....a really good read. Finally got a 53X4Y blogskin of Saber from Fate/Stay Night. One of the ups of today.....Bobbing to the beats of Ashitae no Merodii, the ED theme of the second Card Captor Sakura Movie: The Sealed Card. Waiting patiently for the download of Honey and Clover II ep 1 to finish....can't wait to see what other antics Morita would be up to... But from what I heard from Ching En, its a recap....but it dosen't really matter does it? I mean it IS Honey and Clover, the FUNNIEST Anime drama EVER!!!! I kinda have mixed feelings on what to watch next.....Finsished Speed Grapher last week..... SOOOO SADDDDDD...... SAIGA WENT BLIND AFTER SAVING KAGURA......NOOOO!!!!! My heart kinda sank after that....But at least the ending was SUPERB! Full Metal Panic Fumoffu was another really good series which cracked me up....Sagara Sousuke and his crazy ideas..... I mean who would ever guess that he would recreate the Bonta-Kun outfit from the themepark into some kinda of military weapon??? Really gotta thank Ching En for this stuff.... I also realised that Magister 14 is out WHOO HOO!!! Probably gonna get it on Sataurday after watching Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Tennis to look forward to then... Can't think of anything else to add today....

Chao for now then......

Testing.....testing.....1,2,3.......never did this before......stupid urls......no idea how to change them to my preference.......eeekus.....wanted to put a cute pic of Saber on this site....but oh wells....maybe after a while, I'd get a hang of it.....wish me luck =)
