:
Its been 27 since the Prom night. And over this period boy, was a lot done. And thanks to my constant procrastination, I have not been updating my blog AT ALL. Sorry....... So to make up for all of that heres a super long post.
First came the Prom night then the sleepover at Ken's and then the class chalet.
Prom night was really fun. Everyone was dressed up really nicely. Guys in their suits and girls in their dresses. It was really a night to remember by. Everyone has having lots of fun, just chilling, talking despite the fact that the food was too superb. Thank goodness for the fact that I brought my dear ol camera, my very own Canon Powershot A400 otherwise I would have missed out on this chance to remember the very last night with my schoolmates of four years.
Heres a sneak peak of what happened.
Heres me and Dan at the reception lobby after walking from the Tanjong Pagar MRT station.
It was a rather long walk but thank goodness we weren't perspiring that much. It was even better that it didn't rain otherwise we'd be soaked and out suits would be ruined.
Heres the next pic taken of Zul, me and Dan. My favourite pic amongst all of those taken.
A pic of Zul, me, Dan, Kevin and Yi Ming.
A pic of Maybo, Shi Wan, Me and Zul. And Dan in the background.
The Prom Queen Nanchaiya.

Me and Johan, my good P6 pal, another Anime lover, a great friend! Please note that hes not smiling cause hes wearing braces and its not cause hes dao!

The two best buddies, Johan and Jun Kai, Pic 1. This was taken when a joke was uttered.
The two best buddies, Johan and Jun Kai, Pic 2. More serious this time around.
Me and Jen Kai. Note the great difference in height. I was blinking away as usual....... Dim lights and flashes from cameras don't come hand in hand.......
Me and Eugene, another great friend from 2/1.
Me and Casey.
Me and Max, the Prom King. Did Emcee duties with him before. A really friendly and nice chap.
Me and Cheng Hong, friends and classmates since Sec 1. Despite his stoney and somewhat blank ulterior, he is actually a kind, sensible and helpful guy. It helps seeing the good in others.
Me and Jeronme, a friend in my upper secondary years.
Me and the class monitress, Xing Ying. Most of the class stints were organised and carried out by her.
Me and Hsing Ming, a friendly, helpful and energetic girl, another classmate in my upper secondary years.
Me and my best pals in 2/1, Jen Kiat, Eugene and Timothy.
Me and my best pals in 4/2, Johan, Jun Kai and Casey.
Me, Casey, Wee Hin, Jeronme and Webster.
Overall, I felt that the place was all right and how I expected it to be like. Dim lights, loud music, a crappy emcee;......I could do a far better job.... XD me and my ego........, and not to mention food which was relatively all right but was not very filling. There was a number of games...... but they were not really too fun..... My table didnt even win a single one of them. Surprisingly, I was won a prize during the lucky draw...... a stuffed animal...... lost it during the flourish to take photographs....... Sigh..... the fun of moving around taking photographs ended when my cam batt died....... sigh.... Went home..... tired...... sweaty..... and with a stuck belt...... so I ended up sleeping in my prom night suit..... haha.... how pathetic =p
Next in line came the sleepover at Ken's. We tanked a whole lot of cool anime. We finished the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion series in two nights straight along with the full-length movie which lasted a whooping four hours long. After the marathon of the movie, and still being quizzical about the "angels" and stuff, we were dead tired and flopped over....... Things were made worse by the fact that the following day was Sunday, meaning that we had to go to church.... and thanks to our carelessness, we had a real difficulty waking up the following day.....
Apparently after service, we had sufficient energy and returned to Ken's place and continued another series; Zero no Tsukaima, and finished it by dinner. Sometimes, I'm amazed at where our reserves of energy for anime come from..... hm..... maybe its in the blood?
Now.... Thats what I call good stuff! =)
After which came the class chalet.
Apparently the chalet is somewhere along Pasir Ris way. Sadly, I've heard numerous stories about the place which makes my skin crawl..... But at least we got the place for free =) Thank you Melvin! Incidentally, a couple of "unique" stuff happened during our stay there. On the first evening/ night, it took me, Casey and Jia Hao approximately 20 minutes to find the place. One contributing reason could be due to my overconfidence which caused us to get off a stop later..... Finding the place was another matter.... The street lamps did little aid in allowing us to see in the dark.... Most houses seemed unoccupied but dogs seemed to be in each and everyone of the houses. Barks from the dogs erupted around us as we passed..... But what made me jump was the fact that the house number 13 was unoccupied..... This placed a number of unnerving thoughts in our heads as we proceeded out search.... Finally, we found the place at 9. After a couple of rounds of taiti and majong, we settled down to watch Saw III. Boy was the movie gruesome........ made me want to throw up with what I had for dinner..... No wonder it recieved a R21 rating......... *Hacks*.......Its contents is too morbid to be place on my blog beside dear Makie.....! Certain parts of the movie was boring.... so I nodded off in between....
On the second day, we had the morning to ourselves, most of which was spent on recharging our internal batteries by sleeping.... Breakfast was prepared by the girls in the class.
The food was good but sadly, due to there being such a large number of people there, there was a shortage of food..... In the afternoon, we went cycling followed by a barbecue dinner. The next day we went to Escape themepark and well, just had fun on all of the rides which we had time to take. Finally it was time to leave the chalet. I left the chalet with well....a mix of emotions.... of not being able to talk more to the rest of my classmates.... But at least I was able to spend time with my clique. I shall really be missing them......
Now, onward to what I have done this week and what I am planning to do for the remaining of this week....
On Monday, I spent my morning helping Dad send Christmas cards to his clients. In the afternoon, I headed on down to Ching En's house to watch Nana the live-action movie with Chun Kit. The movie was overall all right and it kept to most of the scenes which were shown in the anime. However, it was rather jumpy and only showed certain scenes and was not really in sequence. But after watching the movie, I feel that Mika Nakashima looks good with the gothic/ rocker chic look.
On Tuesday, I went for the usual sending of Christmas cards in the morning. In the afternoon, I went for ice skating with Ken, Ting, Charmaine, Jono, Judith and Judith's cousins. Despite the fact that this was the first time skating for me, I DID NOT FALL EVEN ONCE =) SOOO HAPPY! At least by the end of the entire skating session, I was able to maintain my own balance and did need to hold onto the barrier for support! We then headed down to Kobayashi after the skating and chatted (with the addition of James' numerous life stories) till 5:30 before heading back home as Ting had tuition and Jono had to pack for his trip overseas.
Today, I spent my morning sending more christmas cards before catching the movie Eragon with my brother and Jon. The movie was relatively all right by my standards. However, they changed quite a bit of the original story to make it seem more "Hollywood"-like and allow the hero to always triumph and get the girl...... That was the main let down. Other than that, the graphics were smooth and Saphira looked just how I imagined her to be.... Go Dragons! XD!!
Tomorrow, I'm catching a movie with Ching En tomorrow and at the same time returning him all of his Fruits Basket Manga. We're also heading down to Kinokuniya to have a look at the new Manga and will probably purchase some art books. If time permits, we may even had on down to Sunshine Plaza for a higher dose of Anime. On Friday, I'm playing tennis with Timothy and going for my Uncle's celebration of the birth of his new born daughter. Will probably head on down to Ken's after the celebration for more anime......
*Yawns* Its been a long day..... feeling really sleepy after this really really long post..... Gonna go sleep now... Oyasumi!
